The soil is dry enough to work, after the snow from four days ago.
Peeked under the soil and saw some radish seeds germinating at Reuben's garden (7 days)
Prepped beds at the Hooks' and sowed:
1 bed Bordeaux spinach
2 beds Tyee spinach
Brought 1 large cold frame into
operation and moved in a number of the Brassica seed flats
(Broccoli, Cabbage, Cauliflower, Kohlrabi, Chineese Cabbage,
Kale) to harden them off and make room in the cozy hoop-house
for the warm weather Nightshades (Tomatoes, Peppers,
Eggplants) and the Basil.

FIRST DAY OF SPRING!
Today we had a visit from the jolly middle schoolers of Watershed School (picture). We did a number of things including spreading manure, painting signs to put in the gardens (picutre), and starting seeds
We started:
1 flat cosmonaut volcov tomatoes
1 ½ flat pink beauty tomatoes
½ flat glacier tomatoes
1 flat klari cheese pepper
1 flat pablo Batavian lettuce
1 flat anuenu lettuce
1 flat sweet basil
1 flat zinnias
1 flat nigella
We also planted a mix of Snap, Snow,
and Sweet peas around the fenced boundaries of our home
property.

Had a meeting for the "core team". We discussed plans for the year and then we planted some seeds (picture). We started:
