Community Roots happily accepts donations and gifts. We operate as a for-profit business, however, and your donation will not be tax-deductable. The following is a short list of items that Community Roots could use in it's operations:
- Cash Donations
- Chipper for chop up sunflower, broccoli, and kale stalks for mulch
- Laptop Computer for maintaining the CR website!
- Bike Trailer(s) for carting around tools
- Hand tools (shovels, wheelbarrows, hoes, trowels, etc...)
- Irrigation (hoses, oscillating sprinklers, timers, etc...)
- Fencing (fence and posts)
- Mulch materials (coffee grounds, straw bales, spent brewing grains)
- Finished Compost
- Lumber for small building projects (dimensional lumber, plywood, etc...)
- Large, clean coolers
- 5 gallon plastic buckets
